Reviewer Guidelines
The International Journal of Modern Trends and Emerging Research relies on qualified reviewers to maintain the quality, integrity, and credibility of published research. Reviewers are expected to conduct fair, objective, and confidential evaluations of submitted manuscripts.
Confidentiality
All manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. Reviewers should not share, discuss, or use any unpublished information contained in the manuscript for personal or professional advantage.
Objectivity
Reviews should be unbiased, constructive, and based solely on the scientific quality and academic merit of the manuscript. Personal criticism of the authors should be avoided.
Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers are encouraged to assess manuscripts based on:
- Originality and significance of the research
- Relevance to the journal's scope
- Quality of research methodology
- Accuracy of data analysis and interpretation
- Clarity of presentation and organization
- Quality of references and citations
- Compliance with ethical standards
Constructive Feedback
Reviewers should provide clear, specific, and constructive comments that help authors improve their manuscripts. Recommendations should be supported with appropriate explanations.
Conflict of Interest
Reviewers should decline the review if they have any financial, professional, institutional, or personal conflict of interest that could affect their impartiality.
Timeliness
Reviewers are requested to complete their reviews within the assigned review period. If they are unable to meet the deadline, they should promptly inform the editorial office.
Ethical Responsibilities
If reviewers identify plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, image manipulation, ethical concerns, or any other form of research misconduct, they should immediately notify the editorial office with supporting evidence where possible.
Review Recommendation
After completing the evaluation, reviewers may recommend one of the following:
- Accept
- Accept with Minor Revisions
- Major Revisions Required
- Reject
The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief or the handling editor after considering the reviewers' recommendations.
