Peer Review Process

The International Journal of Modern Trends and Emerging Research follows a double-blind peer review process to ensure fairness, objectivity, and the publication of high-quality research. The identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.

Step 1: Manuscript Submission

Authors submit their manuscripts through the journal's online submission system or official submission email.

Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening

The editorial office evaluates the manuscript to ensure it falls within the journal's scope, complies with the submission guidelines, and meets basic standards of quality, originality, and publication ethics.

Step 3: Double-Blind Peer Review

Eligible manuscripts are assigned to independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, methodology, technical quality, significance, ethical standards, and overall contribution to the field.

Step 4: Reviewer Recommendations

Based on their evaluation, reviewers may recommend one of the following:

  • Accept
  • Accept with Minor Revisions
  • Major Revisions Required
  • Reject

Step 5: Editorial Decision

The Editor-in-Chief or handling editor carefully considers the reviewers' comments before making the final editorial decision. The decision and reviewer feedback are communicated to the corresponding author.

Step 6: Revision

If revisions are requested, authors should revise the manuscript and submit a detailed response to the reviewers' comments. Revised manuscripts may undergo further review when necessary.

Step 7: Final Acceptance and Publication

Once the manuscript satisfies all editorial and peer review requirements, it is formally accepted and proceeds to copyediting, formatting, and online publication in the International Journal of Modern Trends and Emerging Research.
