The International Journal of Modern Trends and Emerging Research is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Originality

Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are entirely original and have not been published or submitted elsewhere. Any ideas, data, figures, tables, or text taken from other sources must be properly cited and acknowledged.

Forms of Plagiarism

The journal considers the following practices to be unacceptable:

  • Direct plagiarism
  • Self-plagiarism
  • Mosaic or patchwork plagiarism
  • Duplicate or redundant publication
  • Improper citation or unattributed use of another author's work
  • Data, image, or figure plagiarism

Similarity Check

All submitted manuscripts may be screened using plagiarism detection software before or during the peer review process. Similarity reports are carefully evaluated by the editorial team, and editorial decisions are based on the nature and extent of overlapping content rather than the similarity percentage alone.

Editorial Action

If plagiarism is identified during the review process, the manuscript may be rejected, and the authors may be asked to provide an explanation. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may issue a correction, retract the article, or take other appropriate editorial action in accordance with its publication ethics policies.

Author Responsibility

Authors are solely responsible for ensuring the originality of their work and for obtaining permission, where necessary, to reproduce copyrighted material. Submission of a manuscript confirms that the work complies with the journal's ethical and publication standards.
